Betty, Susan, and their mother Rose came to help Aunt Frances move to the Pines the same week as Grammy moved. It was not planned to move them the same week but it worked out that way and we were able to see our family. Betty and Susan are Aunt Frances' granddaughters. Aunt Frances is my great Aunt. These flowers were planted by Betty in front of Aunt Frances's apt before they knew she got into the Pines.
Betty is so sweet. She is a very loving and happy person. It was fun to see her talking to Avery
Aunt Frances was tired and moving slower than usual. She had her battery changed in her defibrillator just several days before this picture. She is a champ though.
Aunt Frances has always loved her dogs and BJ is no exception. He's 15 years old and been with Aunt Frances everywhere she moved. He's very old and feeble and was denied entrance to the Pines. Aunt Frances had to give him to Rose. It was probably one of the hardest things she's ever done.

Aw, I so wish I could have been in NC with you all. We need to (seriously) get on with planning a real reunion....considering our last was just about 20 years ago. Miss you guys so much! Call me sometime.
